Como-Bellagio Ridge

Tour avanzato

An alternation of plains and slopes, stretches winding through country roads, paths intertwining with mountain trails, and panoramic views suspended between woods and lake.

The "Como-Bellagio Ridge", a 33 km route with a Hard difficulty level for mountain biking, starts from the city and has Brunate as its first stop, a small village at 600 meters above sea level overlooked by the Volta Lighthouse, a commemorative monument built in honor of the physicist Alessandro Volta, born in Como.

The itinerary continues, after passing the Baita Carla, towards Mount Bollettone to reach the Lemna Pass: a beech forest and breathtaking views of Caslino d'Erba and the Resegone and Palanzone Mountains lead to Pian del Tivano, 957 meters above sea level, a suggestive karst basin at the foot of Mount San Primo.

From here, you pedal through steep meadows alternating with wooded areas, views of the Grigne, the Corni di Canzo, and the Torno Valley; among mountain maples and the first descents, you'll reach Rovenza, a hamlet of Bellagio and the final stop of our tour.

From the villages of Brogno and Bregola, you then reach the Mills of Perlo... now you are almost arrived at the Pearl of the Lake: the wonder before your eyes, the nature you have touched, the views, the peaks, and the satisfaction of not giving up will surely turn the fatigue in your legs into a pleasure to be sought again!
